Terms of Service

1. The service

is a free community website for sharing Christian faith through articles, Bible verses and discussion. The service is provided from Sweden.

2. Your content

You are responsible for content you submit. You may not post content that is illegal, hateful, deliberately misleading, or that infringes on others' rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these principles, with or without notice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Accounts that are inactive for more than 24 months may be removed. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Account deletion and content

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you delete your account:

• Your account is immediately deactivated — you cannot log in
• Your personal information (name, email, password) is permanently deleted after 30 days
• Your articles, comments and forum posts remain on the site but are shown under the name Anonymous
• This content cannot be removed or attributed back to you after deletion
• You have 30 days to contact us if you change your mind and wish to restore your account

If you contact us within 30 days and request restoration of your account:

• Your articles, comments and forum posts are immediately attributed back to your account
• You will be automatically re-added to any public groups you previously posted in
• Private group memberships are not automatically restored — you must request membership again
• Your daily Bible verse subscription is not automatically restored — subscribe again from your profile page

This policy exists to maintain the integrity of discussions and articles that other community members have engaged with. Removing content mid-conversation would make threads incoherent.

To comply with legal obligations, certain account data may be retained beyond the standard deletion period.

5. Forum

Forum groups are community spaces. Group administrators may remove members who violate these terms. The site administrators reserve the right to delete groups or posts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimer

HumbleWord is provided "as is". We are not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from use of the service. Theological content reflects the views of individual contributors and not a single institutional position.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute shall be resolved by Solna District Court (Solna tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
